I'm facing severe problems with dryness of my throat, at night my throat and mouth are completely dry. As soon as I wake up sometimes I'm finding it difficult to get saliva & swallow saliva or drink water. During the day time even though I drink water my throat is getting dried faster, I'm not able to talk sometimes. These symptoms have started only from past 15 days.
MEDICAL HISTORY:
From my chilhood I'm suffering from tonsils & throat infections. I have sinus infection & sometimes my nose will be blocked. I have difficulty in breathing & severe issues with digestion, joint pains, muscle weakness, fatigue & I have burning sensation in my stomach.
Mouth breathing, PND, acid reflux, food intolerance.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. These are the symptoms arising from mouth breathing (due to nasal obstruction), Post Nasal Drip ( PND ), acid reflux and food intolerance.
2. Start anti reflux medication (such as rabeprazole with levosulpiride), Mucaine Gel and get a Food Print test done.
3. The nasal obstruction should be treated with medication (such as anti-allergic, steroid nasal sprays and steam inhalation) and if there in no response, a turbinate reduction by radifrequency or coblation will help relieve the nasal obstruction. PND due to sinusitis will also decrease.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
