What Causes Severe Headache After Using The Suprep Bowel Prep Kit?

Question : I'm preparing to have a colonoscopy early tomorrow morning. I started with the preparation as directed by my doctor using the SUPREP BOWEL PREP KIT at 6 pm. After finishing with the first part of the prep I had bowel movements as expected but I also had a moderate to severe headache.
I have been on medications for hypertension , low potassium, cholesterol and hypothyroidism.
Do you think the prep had anything to do with the headache?
Should I finish with the second part of the prep? According to the instructions I should be done with the
Prep by 12:30 am and have the colonoscopy at 8:00 am tomorrow.

A headache as prep side effect is possible. You should drink enough water. Usually it is necessary to go with the prep as planned until bowel movement appears clean, So I suggest you to take the second prep as recommended by your doctor.
