What Causes Severe Headache And Diarrhea?

default
Posted on Thu, 27 Apr 2017
Question: Around 3:00am on Sunday(2) days ago had a hard time urinating, and had some diarrhea. Got on a flight from OR to NYC. Arrive in NYC with body aches and pains. Checked into hotel and slept from 4:00pm EDT to 6:00am the next day. Drinking water and still having burning sensation while urinating. Also, aches and pains + severe headache. Ate a bit of b-fast, went to my meeting. Felt week. Flew back to OR. Slept from 9:00pm-7:00am PDT waking up 3 times drenched. Still having issues urinating. Today, in office, feeling tired, somewhat weak, some level of headache and now it hurts to remain seated. IE: "but" pain. Thoughts?

Suggestions-

Thanks for working with me on this.. I'm not often sick but this one hurts...Assuming this is a Urinary tract infection, do I need the Cefixime or will this run its' course over time? Speaking of time... How long might that be?
Are there over the counter Anit-inflammatory meds you would recommend?

Hi again,
Cefixime is a third generation cephalosporin highly effective against gram negative E coli. A couse of it should be taken for 3 days to kill the bacteria's.
