What Causes Severe Headache In Left Side Ear With Small Bumps?

Question: having stabbing headache pains in left rear side behind the ear. seems to be colocated with small bumps on the scalp. two bumps are the size of a dime, third much smaller. stabbing pain occurs every minute or so. not continuous. have had these symptoms 3-4 days now.

Hi,

From what I understand, you seem to have localised pain with lumps behind the ear. As the lumps are causing sharp pain, it seems to be tensely filled. From this description, I assume the lumps to be due to some acute infection with a tensely filled lump. Such lesions needs to be drained by a surgeon.

If my assumption is wrong, I will like you to post pictures of the affected areas here. There is an option to upload pictures on this page.
