Relax
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As you had colonoscopy 3 weeks ago and itching started 3 days ago so no post-procedure effect.
If there is no history of itching in your family members and no red spots or lesions on the body then relax.
Take tab levocetirizine, tab ranitidine plus tab prednisolone.
All these are prescription drugs please contact your local doctor he will prescribe these.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

No you didn't understand. I got the itch 3 days after the colonoscopy. So it is totally related. Also you never addressed the continued flank pain following the colonoscopy. My question is what did the colonoscopy do that could be causing the pain and itch?
Brief Answer:
Ok
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
There was confusion. As there is no perforation and blood pressure and temp are normal.
There cannot be a tear of colon or damage to adjacent organs as pain appeared on the third day.
One explanation is that some minor colon injury might have been there and this itching is due to released colon antigens.
You should take tab levocetirizine and ranitidine as earlier mentioned drugs.
For mild ache, you may take paracetamol. You should be cured within 4 or 5 days.
Avoid beverages and coffee and fast foods besides dairy products.
If no relief then undergo reevaluation for diverticulitis as it is also a known complication after colonoscopy if the patient had diverticulum.
Hope I have answered your query.
