What Causes Severe Itchy Skin And Rashes, Swollen Lymph Nodes Behind Neck?
Question: My 16 yr old severe itchy skin and rash after moving to TX in XXXXXXX Started with swollen lymph nodes in back of neck. Seen regular doctor, dermatologist and allergist. No one knows what it is. She has been given steroid shot, treated for mites and staph. nothing has helped. Allergist said he does not think it is allergies from food or anything ingested. She also gets blister like bumps on her hands and between her toes. Itching and rash started on her thighs and belly then went to the rest of her body. only thing we have changed is moving to tx. Cool shower temporarily help but heat makes worse
She has also had complete blood work done and all was fine. Could this be non hodgkins lymphoma?
Also, forgot to mention she has had strong aches behind her knees.

Brief Answer:
Fungal infection of skin/intestinal parasites
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am sorry for the situation your daughter is in.
From what you are describing, it seems to be fungal infection of the skin. If I was her caring doctor would advise to run examination of the skin to exclude fungal infection.
I also advise to run examination of stool for ova / parasites to exclude intestinal parasites as probable cause.
Hope it was of help! Let me know if you have any questions.
