Question : I have taken 5 tablets 500 mg of Levofloxacin tablets and 5 days later I am experiencing severe pain in my legs while walking. The only thing that relieves me for a short while is ALEVE. What can I do to relieve thispain in myn legs.
Brief Answer:
Continue with aleve!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Muscle pain is a known side effect of levaquin. You should have taken this with much water during treatment. At this time, increase fluid intake, avoid excessive exercise and take aleve for relief. Pains will lessen with time and more so as you no longer take the drug.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
