Question: Severe leg pain when walking coupled with a shortness of breath. Also bruising of arms and legs. I am an 85 year old Male. Thank you! XXXXXXX XXXX

I am so sorry to hear about this muscle pain and easy bruising. I will like to know the drugs you are taking at this time because easy bruising and muscle pain can be side effects of lipid lowering medications and blood thinners. Beside, elderly have low fats deposit underneath the skin which make bruising a lot easier but I will not want to consider this the immediate cause ahead of other possibilities.

In all, provide me with a list of your medications and for how long this has been going on.
