Question : On November 11, 2016. I was in a car accident. The next day, I went to the local clinic and learned that I have one crack rid on my left side and I have pain in the left upper leg, I know the rid will get better with time. But, I am concern with my leg, when I take short walk the pain is bad where I have to stop. I have a x-ray but the x-ray came clean. My doctor said my issue was soft tissue.

Brief Answer:
Would be better to do MRI scan.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted your symptoms. If the pain is localized to one specific area, then, it could be a soft tissue injury. However, if the pain radiates from back to leg, or from toes to back, it could mean a pinched nerve. MRI scan can help in confirmation of the diagnosis.

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
