Question: Hi Sudden onset of severe groin pain on left side (female) four shots at er and could stand it- no knee relex, numbness from knee to ankle on front side of leg - also have back problems with l4 but two antiinflammitory shots in back didn't do anything, had the "hunt and peck for right nerve" on streaming xray- with antiimlamitory- every thing back wise and hip wise with this procedure. On 6 mg of Dilauted a day - helps- but still still in great pain. Any suggestions?

Brief Answer:
Further tests are required

Detailed Answer:
Considering all this, you need to do MRI of spine and check all rheumatoid and autoimmune factors,it should be done is short time since numbness may be serious sign. This indicates compressive neuropathy or autoimmune arthritis and it should be ruled out first. Standard nonsteroid painkiller may not be sufficient for diagnosis. You may need stronger medications such as steroids. Wish you good health. Regards
