Brief Answer:
Cellulitis of the hand, Tenosynovitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

Is the hand red and warm to touch?

Have got sustained any trauma recently?

It is possible you have infection or cellulitis of the hand.

Apply ice to the painful regions, take Tablet Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day for 5 days after meals and Tablet Ranitidine 150mg twice a day for 5 days before meals. You can take antibiotic like Tablet Augmentin 650mg twice a day for 5 days after meals. It is best to get the hand examined by your Doctor to find out the exact microorganism causing this infection and get the right antibiotic treatment against it.

Keep the limb elevated and avoid squeezing it.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
