Brief Answer:
Pregabalin should help control symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

EMG ( electromyography ) will show if the symptoms are related to sciatic nerve or not.

However, related to sciatic nerve or not, the pain has its nerve component, so, in my opinion, you should start a symptoms treatment with Pregabalin 2x75 mg daily as a steer ( Lyrica ), if you are not allergic to it.

Since it is a prescription drug, you should discuss with your primary care Doctor about its use.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.
