What Causes Severe Pain In My Neck, Lightheadedness, Constant Headaches And Joints Pain?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I have been dealing with severe pain in my neck, both sides, light headiness [light dizziness], and headaches constantly 24/7 for the past 10 months [daily], muscle & joint pains in my arms only. Also frequent visits to toilet #2, in the AM only.
Have seen several Specialist who seem to concentrate SOLELY on the brain. Have had MRI, CT Scan and Xray, which shows no problems. NOT ONCE has anyone concentrated on my neck, which is the MAIN problem. When the neck pain is worse, the dizziness/light headiness is worse.
Am now awaiting for an appointment with a Physiologist, who the Neurologist has refered me too a Physiologist, And once AGAIN, months waiting. In the meantime continue to deal with these awful symptoms daily, all day.
I am at my wits end and can't seem to get any help from anybody. My cousin whom I spoke to a short while ago, suggested I have the Doctor check my Thyroid, as she had the very same symptoms I am experiencing. She had a second opinion, and they determined it was her Thyroid. After being treated for it, she's free of those awful symptoms.
Hope there is SOMETHING you can suggest or determine from all of the above.
Your opinion would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanking you,
Sincerely,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
Various causes
Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but since brain disorders have been excluded by extensive testing then I would recommend that you get a ct scan on your cervical vertebrae to excluded herniated disc, spondylitis and cervical stenosis.. Also I would recommend that you get an ultrasound on your neck to exclude subacute thyroidotis and laryngeal masses which can also cause chronic neck pain. i hope I answered your question.if you don't have any other clarifications then please close the discussion..
