Brief Answer:
Could be due to progressive disc prolapse

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

Do you have tingling or numbness?

Is there any noticeable weakness of the right leg?

It is possible that the nerve compression may be progressing which can add to the weakness of the lower limbs.

It is advisable to get a repeat MRI Scan to confirm.

Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights. Apply hot packs to the painful regions. Do low back extension exercises and abdominal muscles strengthening exercises.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
