Question : I have severe pain from my groin area all the way down my legs
Brief Answer:
Nerve compression
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your question on HCM
I do understand your concern
With such a presentation in my clinic, I would first ruled out Nerve compression by doing a physical examination and you may be advised an MRI scan to confirm the diagnosis. Regarding treatment which I recommend to my patient is conservative and it includes muscle relaxants like [cyclobenzaprine], physiotherapy and corticosteroid injection to nerve roots.
Hope that helps
