Question: I have been having severe pain in my left hand from the shoulder down to my fingers. The pain is intensive in the upper arm which swells and feels as though it is going to explode at times. Also pain to a lesser extent in the right arm. I have also noticed white spots and blotches on both legs.

Brief Answer:
Need to rule out pinched nerve..

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

At the outset, I will have to tell you that the specific cause of this pain cannot be identified without a physical exam. However based on your description, the pain s most likely due to a pinched nerve or cervical radiculopathy related to cervical spondylosis. The white spots and skin eruptions in your legs are most likely unrelated to this pain. Further the pain may not be related to your heart.

Since your pain is intense, I doubt it will improve with over the counter measures. Therefore I will recommend you to visit the ER. You can ask for shots of pain medication which will be more effective. Further referral to an orthopedic surgeon and appropriate scan is warranted.

Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
