Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Noted the nature of the pan that you have in the left lower back, now making it painful to sit or get out of chair, climb steps or kneel down.
This classically explains the muscular cause. The spasm of muscles in the left lower back area causing the pain and not allowing the normal movements.
I would advise you hte following:
Take an anti-inflammatory medication like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
Strict rest by laying down in bed, as any movement will increase the edema and swelling in the muscles not allowing it to heal.
Apply a Rubrafacient liniment which gives warmth on local application, helps relieve the pain and hence spasm.
Take a PPI like Omeprazole if there is acidity and since you will be taking an anti-inflammatory.
Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations if required.
Also to get prescription based medications like muscle relaxants.
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
Also give feedback about the progress.
