Noted the history, albeit short and specific - sharp pain on the right side of abdomen in a female of 91 - this needs a concern and the pointed pain can have a reason and should be found out to have a proper treatment.
If there is associated nausea, vomiting, bloating, loose stools or constipation, I would advise you to consult ER or your Doctor to get a clinical evaluation, examination and minimum required investigations such as X-ray of the abdomen, ultrasound and tests of blood, urine and stool.
This will help to get a proper diagnosis.
