Question : twice now my husband has had terrible pain in his stomach and then it seems like it goes with a fever and chills- last 5-6 hours then gradually goes away- He said so much pain and cannot get in any postion to releive the pain. Should we be concerned? He also has lost about 10 pounds in the last 6 months without trying...

Weight loss and such pain can be a very serious symptoms. So yes, you should be worried and do not leave it alone.
He may have pancreas issues or stomach issues. Cancer of this organs should be ruled out.
He should consult his doctor as soon as possible. Gastroscopy and abdominal CT should be done.
