What Causes Severe Pain In The Upper Right Abdomen?

Question: Hi,

I went to ED on 5th July as I had severe pain on the upper right side of my abdomen. They checked for appencitis and gallstones but the ultrasound and CT scan showed neither. I came home the same day but am still in mild to moderate pain in the same area and also burping a lot.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain that you have reported. I have reviewed this information fully and in addition to the possible diagnosis that were looked into, I will like that you get managed for gastritis. In this light, I will recommend that you try omeprazole 20mg capsules, a capsule daily and report your progress to me. Am pretty sure gastritis has got something to do with this pain.
