You need arterial and venous doppler ultrasound of both lower limbs
Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.
First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.
Based on the history you have shared, you need to get it reviewed by a doctor as soon as possible as to rule out any signs of limb ischemia and pulses need to be examined for flow keeping the history of circulation problems already in the past. Also to look for blood flow patency in both legs with detailed arterial doppler and may be a venous doppler too.
Blood work up like CPK and ESR and CRP may also be needed to rule out any myopathy. Meanwhile Keep using OTC analgesics like you have mentioned but I would suggest not to wait till your doctor is back rather consult any nearby ER as limb ischemia if present can need prompt intervention.
Other causes like cellulitis or compartment syndrome also needs to be ruled out so these are only possible by a careful examination by a doctor.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Regards.
