Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
Hello & thank you for submitting your question.

The symptoms you describe are concerning for continued inflammation of the tissue surrounding the area of bite. This could be due to continued infection, which may not be appreciable on visual inspection. Also, there could be tissue damage to the area resulting in mild scar tissue formation and inflammation/swelling during the healing process. Regardless of the cause, these symptoms are not normal and certainly warrant a physical examination by a physician. Please schedule to see your doctor for an assessment and to more definitively determine the cause of the pain and limited movement.

Sincerely,
Dr Galamaga
