Question : I have crohn's disease and sometimes have severe pica and eat chalk. I ate chalk last week (but it is not abnormal for me to have a stick or two a day) and now have severe diarrhea. At the same time I started taking vitamin D supps and iron because my blood tests came back showing severe anemia and a mild vitamin D deficiency.

Pica may be a manifestation of the iron deficiency you have and you are doing the right thing by taking iron supplements.
How long have you been affected by Crohn's disease and which part of your GIT is affected?
What medications are you taking for it?
What exactly is your question?
Let me know more details about the same.
