Question : I had a colonoscopy on November 7, 2014. Should I still be having severe rectal pain? It is unbearable. Is it something I should call my doctor about. I have had several colonoscopies but have never experienced anything like this. I had 2 polyps that were benign.
Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy reports needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The pain you are experiencing might be related to the difficult procedure after polypectomy. The pain will be subsided in few more days.
You did not feel pain during other colonoscopy procedures because this time you had these polyps removed.
I need to have the reports of colonoscopy to evaluate it myself.
Other causes might be hemorrhoids or anal fissure.
Looking forward to have the colonoscopy reports in!
