Brief Answer:
Yes it can be due to stone

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. Pain in flank region is due to stone in kidney. This pain is usually spasmodic and never occur continuously. It is usually associated with burning urination and increase frequency of urination. So in your case if you have those symptoms then it can be kidney related pain.
Other causes can be muscle pull or spasm. There is no other organ there to cause such pain. pain continue then you need to get ultrasound examination. This will tell us if there is any swelling in kidney or stone is present.

I hope this answer will be useful for you. let me know if there is any other followup questions.

Thanks
