Question : Hello Dr XXXXXXX Tayal Mam. I have an query for my pregnant wife. She is suffering from cold from the last 10 days. she sneezes around 5-10 times continuously. she hadn't taken any medicine but natural remedies.Sometimes feel pain in lower abdomen while sneezing. Kindly suggest whether it is normal or not. Also whether we have to consult any doctor for cold medicine or not.

How many weeks is she pregnant?
Also, take home remedies, warm saline gargles and Vicks inhalation.

Hi Mam. Thanks for the reply. She is 16 weeks 6 days pregnant. Her LMP is 21/11/2017.Her all tests are normal. We are in continuous touch with Dr. XXXXXXX Tayal Mam through this app and shared the reports with her. she sneezes around 10-15 times continuously. Now it got reduced. while sneezing, she feel very light pain in her abdomen. Is it normal? Does sneezing puts any effect on the baby? We haven't taken any medicine as it is not suggested to take without doctor's recomendations.
