Question : hello doctor,
I'm 29 years old I'm suffering from sore thsroat since last night with poking sensation and irritation while swallowing. This condition gets worst after I wake up from sleep. I don't have cold nor cough. Please suggest something for I always suffer from this condition often. If I go to local doctor they give me heavy dosage of antibiotics for which I also suffer from gastric. Awaiting your reply

A repeated frequent throat infection can be due to tonsillitis or allergic pharyngitis. The problem aggravates after sleeping because of dryness.
Please send me the pictures of your throat so that I can suggest you better.
I would like to see the pictures before I prescribe you anything.

As the symptoms are progressing, it seems to be an infective throat pathology.
For now, start taking an anticold tablet and steam inhalation and salt water gargles.

Please send me the pictures before I suggest you anything specifically.

Hi
The attachment is to be uploaded onto the reports section. I think there is some problem that I can't find your attachments. Anyways you take tablet cefixime 200 twice daily
tablet anticold twice daily.
xylometazoline nasal drops like otrivin thrice daily
2 drops.
steam inhalation and salt water gargles.
Take all for 5 days.
All the medicines I have prescribed will be available at prescription only.
