Question : I am presently using the bu-trans patch for 3months. I started at 5mg and am now using 10 mg. for about 3-4 weeks I have deems in my legs. Nothing seems to help. Could this be an adverse reaction to the patch?

1. Describe lesions on your legs?
2. Is it present on both legs ?
3. Any associated symptoms ?

Butrans patch do produce some forms of allergic reactions with skin reaction. Get back to me with detailed history .

I do not have lesions on my legs. I do have severe swelling a little more on the left leg than the right leg and very restless legs that are very uncomfortable. I have tried elastic compression knee high stockings but they do not seem to relieve the problem. I am not able to sleep through the night, but am up walking the floor 2 - 3 times a night. I hope that clarifies the problem.
