What Causes Severe Testicle Pain During Ejaculation And Lack Of Erection?

default
Posted on Wed, 29 Jun 2016
Question: I am a 64 year old male. Haven't been able to get an erection for a month, even to masturbate. I could give up sex, but I am worried if I can't ejaculate at all, my testicles of sperm and my prostate with fluid will get clogged up and cause me terrible pain. Or can you really live at my age being abstinent? Will the body reabsorb the sperm and prostate fluid if you can't ejaculate? What would a urologist do?

Brief Answer:
Erection and Ejaculation are two different processes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you are unable to get erection and unable to masturbate .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Are you diabetic?
2) Do you have normal sexual desire (Libido)?

With advancing age it is normal and natural reduction in production of Testosterone by 1% for every year that causes reduced desire for sex (Libido) and it is one of the causes for not getting erection .

Erection is a process where erectile tissue of the penis gets filled up with 100-120 ml of blood which gets trapped up causing penis to become hard so that one can penetrate vagina and perform sexual intercourse .

Where as the ejaculation is an process where semen is expelled out by contraction of Pubococcygeous and muscles of pelvic floor which contract on stimulation of penis by audio visual or tactile sensation during either sexual intercourse or masturbation .Hence One can ejaculate without getting erection by excessive stimulation of penis while masturbating .(It is not mandatory to get erection for ejaculation).

The problem of Erectile Dysfunction is mainly to reduced blood flow to to the erectile tissue of penis due to atherosclerotic changes in arteries supplying blood to erectile tissue .and partly due to peripheral neuritis which is very common after the age of 60 years of age .

You can ejaculate by changing the mode of masturbation involving excessive stimulation of penis even without getting erection or increasing the interval between two sexual acts (Intercourse Once in a week). The co operation of your wife to stimulate your penis will be of much help to ejaculate .

You need to consult qualified Urologist to evaluate the cause of Erectile Dysfunction..

Regarding your fear of having adverse effects on testicles and prostate I would state that there is reduction in production of semen and sperms after the age of 60 years and it does not affect these organs even if one does not ejaculate frequently .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.

Thanks for replying. I do not have diabetes and very little sexual desire. I have not been able to ejaculate without erection even by extra stroking. I do not even get a partial erection, nothing, just completely flaccid. Increasing interval between intercourse is irrelevant because I haven't been able to get an erection hard enough for intercourse with my wife in a year, so I switched to masturbation once a week or two weeks, but that doesn't work for me either. You said "... It does not affect these organs (testicles and prostate) even if one does not ejaculate frequently."

The question I am asking you is what happens if one does not ejaculate AT ALL? No more? Ever. I can't ejaculate even with masturbation, period. Does the body reabsorb the sperm in the testicles? Where does the prostate fluid go? Does the prostate become clogged and congested and lead to painful prostatitis? Can a man my age (64) live on without EVER having another ejaculation?

28 years ago I awoke with a pain in one testicle. My urologist couldn't find anything wrong but every time I saw him he squeezed my testicles very hard to make them hurt. He probably said I should continue having sex but I was scared and did not. After a couple of months my testicles were very painful and then my prostate started hurting like hell and I finally masturbated and a very thick white substance like toothpaste came out. I resumed sex and after a few months the pain in my testicle and prostrate went away.

If I can't ejaculate at all will I be OK?

Brief Answer:
Sperms die if not ejculated & absorbed by epithelial lining of Epididymis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

Sperm cells if not ejaculated die and ththe resultant material is absorbed by the epithelial lining of epididymis where they are stored .

There is remarkable reduction in production of seminal fluid and prostatic fluid by prostate which is itself depends upon the sexual stimulation during sexual activity .

If old age there is very minimal production of semen due to lack of sexual desire and sexual stimulation so there is no issue of it getting congested in prostate and causing pain in testicles as it happens in young age when there is enormous production of semen .

Thanks and Regards.
