I've been having these sensations about 3-4 weeks. Usually come on in evening while watching t.v., thought it was the soft couch I was sitting on but have tried different chairs, doesn't matter. Tends to get worse as time goes on, often keeps me from falling asleep. I noticed this week also experienced mild symptoms during the day. My health history includes high blood pressure and thyroid disease, both controlled by medication. No addictions, 2-3 glasses wine (3 oz.) per week. Not related to anxiety or stress. I've been on Prozac for depression/anxiety for many years.
Brief Answer:
Neurological examination.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being in follow-up.
Neurological examination can actually reveal if there is any nerve issues involved or not.If suspected,Nerve conduction studies of lower limbs can be done to see for any evidence of neuropathy.
Clonazepam and pregabalin can help to provide symptomatic relief for now. However, MEDICINES MUST BE TAKEN UNDER A DOCTOR'S GUIDANCE ONLY.
Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
