Question: 55yrs ago took slap on left ear. bleed. still rings could it be what. had cancer seemed to help. yrs ago a shotthat lasted 3mts did great helps bones. thank you very much.

male 64yrs wh throat cancer found jun l6. treatment radiation 63 times. otoscipc a scope down my throat and my nostils no sign of cancer. also nothing from oncology at rmc annistion al. I have had many cat and pet scans done this year. my new problem is an of one the left side of my head is very painful my ears ring esp l/ear throat is hurting very much. med call in by ent last visit cant get any more ent dr said too use eye drops. I did wear a mast w/eys cutout an nose. thank you very much for this service that is provided to my family.

Hello Mam.

This could possibly represent, an infection considering the normal oncological screen.

A trial of short course of antibiotics will help to clear the infection if any.

I generally prescribe oral pills of AUGMENTIN 625 mg one pill twice a day for 5 days.Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills to you.

Further management if any is largely based on the response to antibiotics.

Left testicle removed 1992. no drain tube for 3-4 days. since then hole in scrotum s right/side. currently I am in cancer treatment. hydrocodone-acetaminophen 10-325, with not much of a relief. presently going throw cancer. could this be due to hole in scrotum.

These symptoms are not related to the testicular cancer and testicular removal or hole in the right side.

Symptoms are directly related to ear tubes.

It's important to get an MRI of the temporal bone for better assessment of the ear condition.

Symptoms could relate to relapse of ear pathology or tube blockade.
