Question : Hello Sir,
I am XXXX from XXXXXXX Three days back I had severe vomiting and after vomiting two or three times suddenly I could see some blood in my vomit. Then again couple of times vomiting of food and then blood. I really in a state of panic and everyone in my family too. Also I had dysentry. From next day no vomiting but had dysentry. Right now while I write this message I am feeling good physically but not mentally. Very much worried. Should I visit any hospital and have a thorough check up? Kindly advise.

I will suggest you to any hospital where Gastroenterologist is available who will examine you and do endoscopy examination and may be colonoscopy. Because the blood in vomitus followed by blood in stool is an emergency as it may be from upper gastrointestinal tract only. Thank you for the answer. To be more specific I did not have any blood in stool. It was a yellowish loose motion. From yesterday it's back to normal state. And after last Saturday night(19th sep) I did not have any incidence of vomiting. Do you still feel I must consult the specialist?
