Additionally she's on Gravidol 100 thrice a day with Nicardia 10. Pressure measuring 130/85 to 150/110 . She's got admit last monday in a nursing home and most unfortunately we lost our baby yesterday night with no heartbeat.
Doc going to induce her soon.

Brief Answer:
Pre eclampsia

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Your wife was suffering from the early onset pre eclampsia.
In this situation, there is decreased blood supply to the fetus which lead to decreased growth of the fetus and decreased fluid around the fetus.
Early onset pre eclampsia can lead to intrauterine fetal death due to severely decreased blood flow to the fetus.
So, this is a known complication of this condition.
There is no fault on the doctor's side.
Please upload the reports so that I can explain you further.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Brief Answer:
Few investigations need to be done

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
As I have read our previous conversation in 2015, your wife had two first trimester abortions.
With this past history and history of early onset pre eclampsia with intrauterine death in this pregnancy, the diagnosis narrows down to few conditions:
1. Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome
2. Thrombophilias
3. Diabetes
4. Autoimmune conditions
In this situation, I will suggest her to get few investigations 6 weeks after the termination of this pregnancy.
The tests are:
1. Lupus anticoagulant
2. Anticardiolipin antibody IgG and IgM
3. Beta 2 glycoprotein
4. APTT
5. ANA (antinuclear antibody)
6. Factor V Leidin
7. Protein C
8. Protein S
9. Blood sugars fasting and post prandial levels
Pregnancy should be planned only the results of these investigations come, so that appropriate treatment can be started timely.
I am from XXXXXXX so personal meeting is a bit difficult due to distance. You are always welcome to meet me in my clinic in XXXXXXX
However, you can ask any query anytime by posting a direct query in my name on this portal. I will try to answer it at the earliest.
You can get back to me with the reports so that I can guide you further.
She should have regular Blood pressure monitoring after delivery for 6 week to rule out any chronic hypertension.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Brief Answer:
Various obstetric complications

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Ihave reviewed the reports.
The reports are suggestive of obstetric cholestasis with oligohydramnios or decreased fluid around the fetus.
Moreover, the history is suggestive of pre eclampsia.
All these are obstetric complications which can lead to intrauterine death at any point in pregnancy.
I will suggest you to get all the investigations as I advised earlier , after 6 weeks of this pregnancy termination. This will make the whole picture clear and will help in planning and treatment in next pregnancy.
You can get back to me with reports.
Regards
Dr Deepti Verma
