What Causes Sharp Back Pain While Getting Up?

default
Posted on Fri, 25 Jul 2014
Question: When I sit for awhile and then get up I get a sharp pain in my back on the right side about 12" up from the seat. The pain is very sharp and I can barely walk, after about 10 baby steps I can begin to walk normally. Some chairs seam to cause more pain than others, I guess they're putting more pressure on that spot. Thank you for your opinion.
