Have you had similar history in past?
This is one of the possibility of many other possibilities, however, this is most probable on the basis of history.
Herpes zoster is a viral infection infecting the nerves.
This is the same virus which causes chicken pox.
The virus remains dormant for years together and flares up in cases of immunosuppression or stress.
