Brief Answer:
Get examined by a physician or neurologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
This pain and spasm can be due to radiculopathy. The nerve root compression may be at thoracic spinal level or chest.
Is there any back pain, previous trauma to spine, cough, expectoration?
You can get examined by a physician or neurologist.
You can get a prescription of pregabalin or gabapentin for such neuropathic pain.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
