Question : Sharp pain during bowel movement, what's up with that?

                                    Brief Answer:
It is a fissure
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thank you for posting your question on Healthcaremagic.
Such pain occurs when there is a small tear in the mucous lining around the anal canal which is called a fissure and this can be very painful.
I would recommend the following Avoid constipation, have a high fibre diet and drink plenty of water.
You could also use laxatives like Cremaffin.
It the pain is too much you will have to. get your self examined by a surgeon just to see if the fissure is getting infected.
Sitting in a tub of lukewarm water would also help.
Best wishes
