Question : Last night during sex with my husband, I experienced a sharp severe pain to my rt side of my head. I was lying on my back, when I re positioned my self to a sitting position it went away. I remember this happening years ago when I was on Topamax. I currently am on Levapro 20mg. Is this something I should talk to my doctor about?

Hi,

I am sorry for the sharp and severe pain you experienced last night when enjoying having sex with your husband.

I do not think the pain was serious as long as it was subsided with re-positioning. It might be due to bad-positioning when having sex.

You can report this to your doctor, but, I repeat again, there is nothing to be worried about as long as it subsided.

The achiness that remained in that area will be subsided in a few days. It is due to bad positioning too and needs more time to get better. You can apply local analgesic cream or massage that area.

Oral analgesics like ibuprofen or acetaminophen are advised to relieve achiness.
