Question : Last night I had a very sharp pain in my chest that lasted about 10 seconds and this morning I have a consistent pain on the left side of my neck.
I had a quad by pass in 2002.

Based on the data you provided your symptoms aren't typical for cardiac issues. Your symptoms are more likely related to muscle pain. This is why I strongly recommend using advil and hot bags to relieve pain.

If the pain persist or the things seems to get worse you should go to ER for further examinations.
