Question: I hope so Dr...I'm having sharp pains in my lower cheeks...across from my chin....it feels like someone jabbing me with needles & I have a very hard time washing my face for these severe pains....I put a few hot compresses on, but that doesn't do any good...I've had them now for about 6 days...thank you

Brief Answer:
Taking juicy fruits like citrus fruits can help

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. There are two possibilities to consider. The first is a viral infection and the second is electrolyte imbalance. Take juicy fruits like citrus fruits. They contain plenty of potassium which should help. Try that and let me know if that helped.

Let me know if I could help further.
