Brief Answer:
Hello

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr.XXXXX,
Good day.
Welcome to health care Magic.com.
Noted your symptoms. MAny drugs uses in the treatment of Asthma including deriphylline can cause shivering, however, temeperature rise is very unusual. The rise in temperature associated with shivering is due to a infection or inflammation. Most likely a viral infection. Do you have a good apetite? How is your weight?

You must check your complete blood count and an ESR. If you have cough, we may also require a chest Xray to look for any evidence of infection.
You should meet an internal medicine doctor to sort out this problem. a DOCTOR NEED TO THOROUGHLY EXAMINE YOU AND DECIDE ABOUT FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS

By the way, Deriphylin retard is not the first line drug for asthma. ( we have better drugs now a days and you should seriously see a pulmonologist to change over to a better drug for asthma). This used to be used in India by many old doctors for many years. However as I said , we have better drugs and deriphylline is not really recommended for asthma

Wish you a speedy recovery

Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
hello,
STALOPRAM is a good drug and especially so because you mentioned about depression. For asthma, inhalers are better in small dose. Omez also is safe to use.
If your hunger is good, then there may not be any serious illness. However, you should get a thorough check up and also get a thyroid function test. Going to hospital at night to casualty, they may only give temporary medicines. However, for a better answer, you need to visit a doctor in his office in the day time by appointment. Internal medicine is better.

You don't have to feel depressed,. These are not serious diseases and as you mentioned you are otherwise a successful person in personal and professional life.
Don't worry, relax. Do some meditation.

Best wishes XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Paracetamol is good. You could take 2 tablets of paracetamol ( 500 mg each) just when you start getting the shivering feeling. Please do not try anything else before investigations. I realize that you live in USA and malaria is not common there. But you may have acquired malaria from outside USA. Malaria can surely present like this.

Binu
