Question : I had a bad cold for over 2 weeks. I was given a dose of Augmentin duo 625 mg morning and night for 5 days, with Sinarest tablets and Ascoril LS syrup. The cold is now gone however, my hands and legs are shivering/trembling. I am also taking Telecast L tablets in the evening. Please advise why this is happening and what should I do?
Brief Answer:
Monitor the progress...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Shivery of limb is not specific to a single known medical condition. It could be related to medicines, new infection and metabolic changes. Please continue medications as instructed. If shivering continues, then she needs to be seen by her physician. Physical evaluation along with serum electrolytes, blood sugar needs to be checked.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
