Question : shooting pain in the kee cap and I tried to walk on it but it herts to lift up my leg with out pain
Brief Answer:
need to rest, apply ice, take ibuprofenum
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
If there was no trauma then this is unusual for such young people to have knee issues. You should avoid weight bearing, running and walking on stairs as long as pain persist. You need to apply ice packs, take paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain.
If pain persist for more than 3-4 days, you should do x-rays to verify patella disorders such as subluxation or fracture.
Wish you good health. Regards
