Question: fluid on my feet, shortness of breath. had blood tests all normal. heat valves checked all fine.

I can understand your concern.

In my opinion, we should rule out Pulmonary embolism in your case.
You are having deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and DVT is most common cause for Pulmonary embolism (PE).

PE can be the cause for your breathlessness.

So first get done CT Pulmonary angiography.
It will diagnose if PE is present or not.

1. Have you investigated for PE?
