Question : Hi, I'm 45 years old female-and have been diagnosed with thoracic spondylosis- I have been having shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, coughing. My doctor gave me Alvesco, but when using it I get chest pain and pressure in the chest. He told me I need to continue, it will go away.
What should I do? Does this thoracic spondylosis get worse?

I would suggest you to get heart check up

Hello Madam,
I have read your question. I think you are having two problems right now.
1. Breathing problem for which you are taking Alvesco.
2. Thoracic spondylosis.
But before I give you any advice about spondylosis I would recommend you to get your heart check up as early as possible. Chest pain and pressure in chest are warning sign of heart problem so it is better if you can get ECG and 2 D echo cardiogram as early as possible.
Do not worry about thoracic spondylosis as it is not an emergency right now. I can assure you that it is not going to worsen by Alvesco.
Let me know about your heart related reports. If you have any x ray of thoracic spine or MRI then send that report also.I will try my best to help you.
