Question : I have shortness of breath after exertion. I quit drinking alcohol 6 months ago and have replaced it with sweets adding 30 lb's. I am also taking many anti-depresents and also blood pressure pills. I ache all over and am sore in my muscles.

Shortness of breath on exertion is a sign of underlying cardiac disease. I recommend you to get a stress echo done to rule that out.
