What Causes Sinus Pressure With Headaches, Insomnia And Weakness In The Legs?

Question: Ive had fatigue, sinus pressure with mild headaches, no real drainage, insomnis, and weakness in my legs for about 5 weeks now. Diagnosed 3 weeks ago with sinus infection, given augmentin and prednisone, which I finished a week ago. Landed in hospital because of vertigo and leg weakness. CT scan was fine, bloodwork fine except low potassium. Still not feeling any better. Any thoughts?
Brief Answer:
Infection could be the cause of electrolyte imbalance.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Infection can be the cause of low potassium and there by vertigo and weakness.
Get your CRP levels in blood to know the current status of infection. If it is still high then you need antibiotics and nasal decongestants. Take fruit juices, tender coconut water, chewable vitamin C.
If no improvement then x ray of sinuses and endoscopy will be required.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
