Question : I got an electrical shock at work and voltage went through chest they took me to the emergency room ECG shows sinus rhythm, incomplete right bundle branch block and left axis deviation . Do you think this could be caused by the electrical shock?
Brief Answer:
Unlikely.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern.
These changes are unlikely to be due to Electric shock.
Electric shock usually causes transient conduction defects and arrhythmias. If muscle injury is there causes increase in pottasium levels it can cause tall t waves.
These are most common findings.
However to be sure get a repeat ECG and ECHO.
If you have any further query please ask me.
