Question : I have been have skin changes and scarring on the left side of penis dont really know want it is. Last urologist Ive talked to said it was inflammation. It has gotten worse. Could this be from masterbation?

1) How frequently you masturbate?
2)Was there any injury during masturbation?
3) Are you able to retract your foreskin completely?
4) Is is possible to upload photograph of your penis to make me see and understand that the nature of your problem and condition of the penile skin.As it It is very difficult to make any comments without visualizing the penis or photograph?
5) Has the colour of the skin changed to white ?
6) Do you have any urinary symptoms?

Thanks for the reply. (1)I masterbate everyday.(2)no injury. (3) No foreskin Im circumsized. (4) Ill send a pic. (5) There is a white patch. (6) no urinary symptoms

Please shoot the photo focusing only on the affected area and little with distant vision (Not too close to lesion).

The whitish skin and scarring are likely to be due to what is called as Ballanitis Xerotica Obliterance (BXO).However this can be confirmed only after visualizing photograph.

It seems that you have early changes of BXO. However you need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination to confirm the diagnosis.

You can take Vit E twice daily along with steroid cream for local application.
