Question : I'm 64 years old and in the last few months I have noticed my skin has turned from being smooth and soft to the touch to feeling like it has a sort of texture to it. Is this just old age or something to worry about?
Brief Answer:
Age related degenerative changes
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
With age, the integrity of the connective tissue in our skin comes down and what you report is the resultant change in texture. It is likely to be simply age related and is not something to worry about. Taking Vitamin E supplements like Evion 400 twice daily should be helpful.
Drinking plenty of water as well as eating fresh green leafy vegetables would also be helpful as with good hydration skin texture as well as blood circulation improves while green vegetables contain Essential Vitamins like A,D,E which are essential for skin's integrity .
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards
